Beautiful portrait as a wedding gift

The portrait was commissioned by the parents, who wanted to give the young couple a wonderful surprise gift for their wedding day. The portrait was created mainly from one photograph. The photo was successful but a little random, so I modified several details and the color scheme to create a more cohesive feel and a balanced composition for the work. In addition, I asked for more photos of the couple so that I could familiarize myself with their facial features in a more versatile and accurate way.

The painting is executed using a mixed media technique of drawing and painting on paper. This allowed the client to order the work more affordably compared to, for example, a watercolor or oil painting. The portrait size is 60 × 50 cm, and it is framed under glass with a wide white mat. After framing, the overall size is approximately 75 × 65 cm, and it looks very distinguished and unique.
