A nine-year portrait project. The last portrait of the six grandchildren has been delivered to the happy Grandma Sirpa and other family members.
The wonderful grandmother of the family commissioned watercolor portraits of all six of her grandchildren, painted by me at the age of 10. A couple of days ago, the last portrait was handed over at my studio in Espoo. Here are some of the commissioned children's portraits I have done for the family.
I must say it was a very emotional situation and the project holds many memories. It was great that each child got to pose for me themselves; that way, I was best able to capture their world, hobbies, and personality traits. It is also a great joy that I got to know the family. Thank you for that, and all the best to each of my models!).
All six children's portraits were done with watercolor on 300 g art paper.
