The name of this portrait of a joyful woman is “Moment of Light.” The color palette of the work was simplified according to the client’s wishes. I have warm memories of this creative moment, as handing over a commissioned portrait is always exciting, even though the models are usually very satisfied with the result.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the handover took place safely outdoors in the large parking lot of Jämsä S-Market. At that time, I had just moved from Jämsä to Espoo a few weeks prior. That day, however, stuck in my mind: sunny weather, blue sky, and the model's blue eyes shining with joy. Every artwork has its own story and warm memories. Pauliina was very happy to receive a wonderful gift from her husband. Thank you both! 🎨🙋‍♀️💙
