The important role of the visual arts

My artistic work process
“I’ll start working with a big oil painting or portrait based on material collected from nature (small watercolors, drawings, sketches, photos). I’ll arrange all the ethylene on the floor and easel; I am happy with the result.If necessary, I draw a board-sized pre-drawing in charcoal or pastel. This work process makes it possible to avoid disappointment in the middle of the work, when the fabric has already been painted and a lot of time has been spent on it.
The succession of stages also makes it possible to draw attention to technology and the technological side of the work, to greater freedom and to freshness of expression. ”
