Welcome to a rewarding summer painting course in conjunction with an inspiring exhibition!

Schedule:

Tuesday – Wednesday 29.-30.7.25 at 12:00–16:30, including approx. 40 min lunch break

At the beginning of the course, an inspiring painting demo by the teacher! A great opportunity to work inside Riihigalleria and outdoors. Course participants who wish to work outdoors should bring appropriate clothing, an easel if needed, and mosquito repellent as a precaution. The gallery has a microwave oven, a village association café, and a shop. The gallery is located in a forest setting, near a small rapids and a lake.

Course fee:

• One-day course: 58 € (e.g., Tue 29.7)

• Two-day course: 110 €

For under 9-year-olds:

• One-day course: 45 €

• Two-day course: 80 €

The course participation fee includes an admission ticket to Riihigalleria's summer exhibition 2025 and VAT.

Painting supplies:
Painting supplies are not included in the course fee. You can bring your own tools or purchase basic painting supplies on-site (30 € / set, arranged in advance).
You can bring your own easel.

Course registration is binding. If the course cancellation occurs after Sat 19.7, I will have to charge 25 €.

Art experiences in Kuhmoinen can be enjoyed in the magnificent Riihigalleria. It was built by artist Niilo Suojoki from six local barns. Riihigalleria is a summer exhibition venue, hosting a changing art exhibition every summer. In addition, the gallery displays works by Niilo Suojoki. The building has five exhibition rooms and a café, where visitors can purchase high-quality products from local artisans as souvenirs and gifts.

Address: Riihigallerianrtie 82, Kuhmoinen. Approximately 19 kilometers from the center of Kuhmoinen. Riihigalleria's summer exhibition in 2024 had about 1500 visitors. Gallery admission fee 7 €. The course participation fee includes an admission ticket to Riihigalleria's summer exhibition 2025
