Shipping policy

Terms of Delivery

Finished paintings and artworks are available for purchase through the online store. Customers may select an available delivery method during the checkout process. Delivery rates are displayed on the checkout page.

The following delivery methods are available: Shipping, Personal Home Delivery, and Studio Pickup.

Shipping

Artworks are delivered carefully packaged via Posti, Matkahuolto, or DHL. We reserve the right to use the most suitable courier service for each shipment. The customer cannot individually select the transport company used for the order.

Delivery Times and Pricing

  • Delivery Time: Within Finland, delivery typically takes 5–10 business days or as otherwise agreed.

  • Pricing: Shipping rates are primarily determined by the size of the artwork. Framed or exceptionally difficult-to-pack items may incur higher shipping fees. Current rates are visible on the checkout page.

Unclaimed Shipments

Failure to collect a shipment does not constitute a formal return. For shipments that remain uncollected and are returned to Taideruoho, the customer will be charged for the actual return shipping costs + a €20 service fee. The package can be re-sent at the customer's expense.

Personal Delivery (Local Delivery)

Artworks can also be delivered directly to the customer's home within Finland. Delivery fees are determined by the distance from the artist’s studio and storage facility. Personal delivery is available within a radius of approximately 200 km. Prices will appear at checkout after you have entered your delivery address. The delivery time will be arranged separately.

Studio Pickup

Customers may choose to pick up their order from the artist's studio in Espoo, Finland. In this case, no delivery fee is charged.

Commissioned Works

Delivery methods and costs for commissioned artworks are determined individually during the quoting process.

Pricing is based on Taidemaalari Svetlana Ruoho's current price list. An advance payment must be cleared in our account, or a receipt of payment must be provided, before the commissioned work is completed and delivered.
