The portrait of Professor Timo Närhi was unveiled on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in the Dentalia building of the Department of Dentistry. The work will be placed in the Arje Scheinin Hall of Dentalia. The portrait of Professor Timo Närhi was unveiled at a gala event at Dentalia, attended by Närhi's colleagues and relatives, as well as representatives of the university's management. The opening remarks of the event were delivered by the Director of the Department of Dentistry, Professor Pekka Vallittu. Professor Närhi gave a speech to the gala audience, which was followed by the unveiling of the portrait.The portrait of Professor Timo Närhi was painted by the artist Svetlana Ruoho.
