Unfortunately, I have to cancel the event due to sudden family reasons. A new date will be announced later.

A playful and visual lecture at Sello Library. Free entry. Welcome to listen and draw!

Lecture content: This visual and participatory lecture encourages reflection: which is easier to paint or draw - an egg or a human face? And which is more important in art - a person's outer appearance or their personality? How can a portrait reveal more than just the external existence - perhaps even something one doesn't yet know about themselves? We will together look at prehistoric cave paintings and exquisite 17th-century Baroque court portraits. After that, we will move closer to modern times. This way, we will make a quick artistic survey of the forms of human faces in different eras. The lecture is not just for listening: the audience will also get to sketch a light portrait under the guidance of a professional artist.

Drawing materials will be provided on site, and no prior experience is needed. The event is fun, relaxed, and suitable for visitors inspired by the topic as well as families with children. Svetlana Ruoho - worth coming to listen! Admission to the event is free.
