The work depicts a relaxed atmosphere of leisure or vacation.

The painting is executed in cheerful and soft pastel shades. Only a part of a woman's hand holding a book is visible from the hammock, along with a casually hanging leg clad in a summer sandal. The viewer is free to imagine themselves in the place of the person resting in the hammock.

In the background, a beautiful sky unfolds, where pink and turquoise washes softly alternate. The atmosphere is peaceful, joyful, and invites one to pause in the moment – for relaxed reading and tranquil being.

The painting is made with a mixed media technique of watercolor and pencil. The work beautifully suits home decor and also makes a wonderful gift for family or friends. The unique piece comes ready in a white passepartout.

The paintings originated in teaching situations, which is why they are available at a particularly attractive price – authentic art in an easily accessible form.

Techniques vary from watercolor, gouache, opaque paint, and acrylic to pencil and markers – most often executed on paper. We also work with these methods in my courses, where I guide participants to experiment and learn new things.

Delivered by Posti / Matkahuolto / DHL to the nearest service point. The price is affected by the size of the artwork and whether it is framed. The smallest artworks cost 5.50€ to a Posti pick-up point. The largest artworks to a pick-up point or delivered to your home address cost a maximum of 75€. You can pick up your order at an agreed-upon time from my studio in Espoo, Kutojantie 3. You will receive further details in the order confirmation.

I will deliver the product to your doorstep within a 200km radius of my studio. The price is determined by the distance and will be calculated automatically at checkout when you select this delivery option.
