The work perfectly embodies a beautiful, summery impressionistic atmosphere. The color palette is fresh and summery, yet soft and balanced. The artwork has an airy quality and a sense of three-dimensionality – it breathes and shimmers in the light.
The female figure is naturally composed as part of the landscape. The viewer can sense a peaceful moment: the figure rests on a sandy beach by a lake, sheltered by soft sunlight and birch leaves.
The painting is executed in oil on canvas. It is for sale pre-framed. The white wooden frame is included in the price. The work was created in 2017, and the colors have not changed at all since then, which is a very good sign.
